How to play
Start with a color piece and look for the car that matches it. Your child can tap the color and then tap the car, or drag the piece straight onto its matching car. The first rounds keep things simple with two cars. Later, four cars appear, giving little learners a few more choices to think about. Across five rounds, they’ll meet nine colors and make fourteen matches.
When a match is right, the game says the car’s color aloud. That makes it easy to connect what your child sees with the word they hear. You can repeat the name together, ask them to say it, or simply let them listen. If they choose something different, give them a moment to look again. Working it out is part of the fun.
Make it a game you share
Sit beside your child for the first few turns. Try asking, “Which car looks like this piece?” rather than pointing to the answer straight away. If they’re unsure, talk through two choices together. Children often notice the match before they feel confident enough to choose it.
After playing, take the colors off the screen. Find a blue sock, a red toy, or a green leaf. Ask which car would match each one. Those tiny everyday connections can turn a quick game into a longer conversation.
One round may be plenty today. Tomorrow, your child might want another drive. Let them set the pace, celebrate their discoveries, and stop whenever they’ve had enough. The cars will be here when they’re ready to return.
